The Chapel School is dedicated to providing a warm, caring environment where children can grow with confidence and joy. Our primary goal is to lay a strong foundation that fosters a lifelong love of learning and a positive attitude toward school.
Our philosophy of "learning through play" is at the heart of everything we do. Throughout the day, children engage in a variety of hands-on activities, including building with blocks, exploring props for imaginative play, enjoying picture books, painting, creating art, and using table toys. These experiences are designed to promote creativity, curiosity, and self-expression.
Our teachers work with children one-on-one, in small groups, and with the whole class, ensuring that each student receives individualized attention and support. Classrooms are bright and welcoming, decorated with students' original artwork and writing, celebrating their achievements and creativity.
To meet the needs of all learners, our lesson plans include thoughtful modifications, allowing every child the opportunity to succeed at their own pace. Younger children focus on developing social-emotional skills, while older students begin working on foundational pre-writing, pre-literacy, and math concepts.
We also value the importance of daily outdoor play, where children can explore, move, and build physical strength. Whether climbing on our playground structure or digging the biggest hole in the sand, children develop their large motor skills while enjoying fresh air and active play.
At the Chapel School, we believe in nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically—while inspiring excitement and readiness for the journey of lifelong learning.
